The Good: To truly review this game I need to break it into two: Single

Player and Multiplayer. So starting with the single player, the graphics are
good. Sound is fantastic, guns and explosions all have the right feel and
punch as you play. You lead two teams most of the time, and while they
will occasionally get hung up on a whole they will do exactly as you ask.
They react to changing dynamics of the fight and over all feel like an
asset to use rather than a hinder like so many other squad based shooters.
The grenade toss control can be a bit wonky at times but over all the
game handles like a solid FPS should. The story is a continuation of sorts
for the long running series and feels like an episode of Band of Brothers
backed up be good voice acting.

The Bad: The game suffers from lots of little glitches like screen tears
now and then or floating weapons left behind by dead soilders. Its not a
deal breaker but you have to wonder how this passed through their testing.
Online play is a complete let down! Graphically it looks like an xbox game
rather than a 360 game. On top of that online plays nothing like the single
palyer game, there are no squads to command. Its simply run and gun
shooting and even that isn’t fun online. Thankfully you don’t need to play
online to get the achievements as all their online achievements give you
0pts toward your gamerscore. Yes you heard that right… 0 pts. One
can’t help but wonder if they realized last minute how bad the online is
and pushed all the points into the single player?
Overall: I have long been a fan of this series, and the single player while
good isn’t great enough to over shadow the poor multiplayer game thus
grading this a rent. Rent it for the single player, you can finish it out in a

dedicated weekend and get close to max achievements.
