    Detective Bird

The Good: Great voice acting (the actors from the movie reprise their

roles as the characters in the game). Fast-paced cinematic experience.
Brings back some Goldeneye nostalgia. The gameplay allows for stealth
gameplay, or guns-a-blazing... you chose. It has a cool take-down system
that is reminiscent of pretty much all other stealth games, with a timed
button activation system a la Heavenly Sword.

The Bad: The "cover" system that the game utilizes can be quite choppy
at times and unresponsive. This makes very intense moments very
frustrating and take away from the enjoyment of the game. The graphics
leave a lot for want. Sure it looks and feels like the classic Goldeneye for

the N64 with some next-gen touch ups, but with games like Gears 2,
Fallout, LBP, and COD5 holding their place in the market with great
gameplay and graphics we really need to step it up a bit.

Overall: After Goldeneye on the N64 we have been waiting for a Bond
game that can recreate that old magic. If you want that feel of nostalgia,
this may be that game. Unfortunately that's all the game really has to offer.
Yes, it is quite fun to play through some of the action sequences from the
two movies, Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace, but that's all that is
really holding this game together. If you were a fan of Goldeneye, as I was,
you'll no doubt enjoy this game to some degree, but don't expect this game
to be as ground-breaking as the N64 classic. In my opinion this game is a
rental, at best, and only really after you've finished with all the other great
titles saturating the market right now and you need something to tide you
over until the next great release.
