Hey Peeps, with the release of Mass Effect 2 a couple weeks behind us, I am hoping there are at least a few people out there who have finished one play-through that might have some thoughts on a few questions.

I'll try to keep them light, but I can't really ask some of these questions without getting into plot points. I'll cover anything that happens during the "end game" with a spoiler tag.

Again, warning, here be spoilers.

1. Was anyone else very disappointed that we didn't get to see the Quarians "unmasked." In ME1, I seem to remember Tali telling Shepard that Quarians needed their envirosuits to leave the flotilla because a life aboard space vessels with purified atmospheres weakened their immune systems. So, why do they wear the suits aboard their own ships? I know they explain it a little in conversation, but it seems like they changed the story a bit from the first game.

2. If the Reapers are made from the genetic material of conquered races, and take on the appearance of said race, why do all the one in "darkspace" look just like Sovereign? Did they somehow rise up and conquer a race of sentient bugs and then never need to make anymore of themselves, conveniently, until now?

3. How cool is (are) Legion? He is not that great to have in your party, but looks really cool and provides a really great insight into the Geth and sheds a much different light on the events from Mass Effect 1. Do you think how you treat him (them) will change what roll the Geth play in ME3? How awesome would it be if you found out that because you spaced Legion, the Geth are against you in ME3, whereas if you had brought him on the team and won his loyalty, they would help you.

4. Speaking of long term consequences. Remember the Rachni from ME1? The giant roaches that you had to fight on Noveria. Remember deciding to kill the last one? Turns out if you let her live, you get a brief conversation with an Asari on Illium where she tells you the new Rachni will "stand with you against the coming darkness." It could be that by killing the Rachni queen in ME1, which I never did, you might have cost yourself some powerful allies.

The list of small decisions made that could have consequences later goes on and on. Bioware were far more detailed in bringing that forward than I thought they would be. In ME1, you had a chance to give information to the Shadow Broker. That could come back to haunt you, maybe you'll end up having to chose between getting something you need from him or helping Liara with her quest to hunt him down.

In ME2, you got some intel on Cerberus. You could give it to them, keep it, or give it to the Alliance. What effect will that have?

I am sure there are some that I have missed. If you have finished a playthrough, and feel like discussing it, let's hear it.
