 Considering the Xbox 360 received the lion's share of Modern Warfare 2 purchases, it comes as a bit of a shock to us that the already released on PS3 and PC "care package patch" is just now being submitted to Microsoft for certification. That said, developer Infinity Ward's community man Robert Bowling tweeted as much to Game Informer's Andrew Reiner approximately 24 hours ago when Reiner asked about a possible release for the much anticipated fixes. * Care Package, Emergency Airdrop, and Sentry Gun marker grenades sprint speed normalized. * Fix for "infinite care package" exploit. * Sentry Guns: Improved placement detection, preventing cases of Sentry Guns inside geometry. * Model 1887: Bling using Akimbo and FMJ combination now has same range and damage as non-Bling Model 1887s. * Fixes to prevent various XP hacks. All we have to do now is wait or play the PC or PS3 versions of it. Maybe El Presidentor will be happy now. -------------------- BigSmooth OUT!

What yet another Patch coming out.....Never saw that coming. IW learn for Modern Warfare 3, and don't copy and paste................

Sony did have a patch but it was only in Europe about two weeks ago, there was a side effect though, the game kept crashing on some players. Not much of a patch.

The case of the PS3 version crashing after the patch maybe a result of not going through certification like Microsoft insist on for their platform. Just a guess though,
